Rep Leke Abejide lauds FRSC for effective traffic management in Nigeria

The Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has commended Federal Road Safety Corps for the effective management of vehicular traffic across Nigeria

Abejide gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit on Dr Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi, Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in his office in Abuja.

He said the corp under the leadership of Dr Boboye has been able to improve on the prowess and swiftness of response to traffic challenges in the country

” FRSC is the lead agency that oversees the prevention of road accidents, clearing obstructions, and educating drivers on proper usage of the highways”

“I need to come here and pledge my unalloyed support, cooperation, collaboration and synergy with the FRSC corps under the leadership of Dr Boboye Oyeyemi to enable us provide the required environment for citizens of this country to go about their lawful businesses” he said

The Federal lawmaker said the security agencies also required the support, cooperation and collaboration of members of the public to effectively tackle the security challenges and obstacles on our highways.

He assured the corps marshall of his total cooperation and readiness to work with him to improve the service delivery of the FRSC across the board.

Responding, the Corps Marshall of the FRSC, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi said he was delighted to receive the honourable member representing the people of Yagba Federal Constituency, describing his visit as a tonic for him and his men to work harder.

“This shows that our work as a public servant is appreciated” Boboye noted.

He assured him that the FRSC will continue to corporate with Nigerian motorists to ensure free flow of traffic needed for citizens to do their legitimate businesses.

He further expressed confidence that the Federal Road Safety Corps under his leadership will continue to synergise and support the Nigerians to build appropriate capacities, to collectively secure the highways and clear highway gridlocks.
