The Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Commission (HYPPADEC) in Conjunction with Oxee Health care Limited and Cedio Rural Outreach Ministry have begun free medical and surgical outreach in four Area councils in Kogi state.
The Local Government Areas are Ajaokuta, Bassa, Kogi and Ibaji
A statement by Oxee Healthcare Limited said that the programme began today 12th March and would end on 15th March, 2022 in the four Council Areas.
The statement said the Ajaokuta programme is holding at General Hospital, Ajaokuta between 8am and 4pm while that of Kogi Local Government is at General Hospital, Kotonkarfi, same time
Similarly, Cedio Rural outreach Ministry is conducting same exercises in Oguma, Gboloko in Bassa while that of Ibaji is holding in Oyedegha and Ayah Primary Health care centres.
According to the statement, the surgical includes hernia, hydrocele, ganglion, lipoma and lump while the medical includes, malaria, hypertension, diabetes among other diseases.
The statement urged the people of the four council areas to take advantage of the free medical and surgical outreach to attend to their health challenges.
