INEC says it will not take any action for now on the sack of the Ebonyi state governor, deputy and sixteen Assembly members based on Conflicting court judgments.
A Statement by INEC national commissioner for information, Festus Okoye, said the decision of stay of action was informed by the conflicting court judgements from Federal High Courts and from the court of Appeal challenging their defection from the PDP to the APC.
He noted that the commission will act appropriately when all legal procedures have been concluded.
