The Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Elder Leke Abejide has dissociated himself from a WhatsApp group campaigning for Governorship Election on his behalf.
A statement by the Chief of Staff to the lawmaker, Shola Adebola Samuel said those behind the WhatsApp group do not have the mandate of Hon. Abejide to do so
“Our attention has been drawn to wattshap platform on Leke Abejide for Governor.”
“We appreciate your love for wishing Hon Leke Abejide well in moving forward in his political endeavour but Hon Leke Abejide wish to appeal to everyone to pray for him in his quest to consolidate the present achievements and transformation agenda ongoing.”
“We hereby appeal that every quest in this direction should be put on hold and pray for the success of Hon Leke Abejide in his current endeavour.”
