Barely two days after the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) handed down one month suspension to the senator representing Delta Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the lawmaker has has dumped the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nwaoboshi announced his defection when he met with President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Villa on Friday.
Nwaoboshi has been emershed in verbal attacks with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, whom he succeeded at the Senate in 2015.
