A sociocultural organisation of Ebira elites, Ebira Renaissance Group (ERG) has felicitated with Kogi governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his resounding victory in the just concluded governorship election.
The Group in a statement signed by its coordinator, Pastor Joseph Suleiman (Manjoe) also congratulated the entire Anebira on the victory which they described as unprecedented revolution accomplished by the grace of God through the dogged determination of the executive governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“By our reckoning, and beyond partisan politics the victory represents a quantum leap in the collective aspiration of a people who have desired their rightful place in the affairs of a state which creation and progress they have laboured for.”
The Group admonished the governor elect to take cognisance of an Africa proverb that says” if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together.
It therefore implored him to embrace collaboration, engaging with dissenting and build consensus to galvanize the people for an all inclusive governance.
