Kogi HoS lauds Gov. Ododo’s 100 Days achievements, pledges civil servants support for administration

Kogi State Head of Service, Mr. Elijah Evinemi, congratulated the state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the 100th day of his administration.

In his congratulatory message, which was made available to journalists in Lokoja, Mr Evinemi said the first hundred days of the administration have been very eventful.

He emphasized the positive impact of the Governor’s administration on the state civil servants, who have reaped bountifully from the kind heartedness of the Governor through prompt payment of salaries and provisions of a conducive working environment.

Mr. Evinemi particularly paid glowing tributes to the Governor for addressing the salary problems of the local Government workers and pensioners at that tier of government, which he said had lingered for a long time.

He reiterated the commitment of the civil servants to the government, assuring the Governor and State government that they would reciprocate the government’s gesture by rededicating themselves to their duties and ensuring that the businesses of government do not suffer.

The Head of Service urged all cadres of civil servants to shun vices that could jeopardize government business.

He said measures would be taken in all ministries and parastatals to check workers’ vices and punish them accordingly, regardless of their cadres.

He also said that the government would reward dedicated and faithful workers.
