The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru and 12 other military brass may have been killed in a plane crash at the Kaduna International Airport.
Information available to Nigerian Link said the Chief Army Staff and other military officers were in Kaduna ahead of a military pass out parade slated for tomorrow.
Gen. Attahiru was appointed chief of army staff on January 26, succeeding Tukur Buratai. He was 54.
He reportedly died alongside seven other military personnel, including the pilot of the ill fated Nigeria Air Force plane.
